teaching
Ryan Otterson has been invited to serve as a Visiting Professor at Cornell University AAP in Ithaca, New York during the Spring 2020 semester. In collaboration with visiting critic Philippe Rahm, he is co-teaching a design studio for both 5th year B.Arch and MS.AAD (Masters Degree) students, exploring the role of architecture in addressing global climate change through the lens of meteorological and climatic composition. Additionally, he is teaching a seminar course on contemporary facade design, focusing on emerging technologies, simulation tools, and the relationship between current construction practices and architectural theory. As part of his responsibilities, he will also advise B.Arch thesis students in the completion of their fifth year degree requirements.
